01. Responsible entity and scope
PRO TECH ATHLETES COALITION is the publisher of Next Play Athlete Lab, package org.protechathletes.nextplaylab. Its registered correspondence address is 8387 S Escalante Dr, Sandy, Utah 84093-1155, United States. This policy applies only to version 1.0 of the Android app and its local features. The address is not represented as a walk-in office, training site, event location, or public service desk.
02. Purpose and important boundaries
The app is an original, self-guided planning and reflection toolkit. It is not a recruiting, scholarship, roster, employment, credentialing, coaching, medical, legal, financial, eligibility, safeguarding-report, or emergency service. Proposed app modules are not represented as existing programs or guaranteed services of the organization.
03. Optional information stored locally
The app can store checklist states, short planning fields, a context-action-result story draft, manual opportunity ratings, a selected mentor question, weekly priorities, decision-lane notes, and 30/60/90-day milestones. Entries are optional and remain in Android app-private SharedPreferences on the device. The app does not require a real name.
04. Purposes and user choice
Local entries restore the user's own planning work and calculate simple on-screen completion counts. They are not used to profile another person, determine eligibility, rank athletes, predict performance, or make an automated decision. Every guide remains readable without saving an entry.
05. Information not collected
The app does not collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, government identifiers, account credentials, contacts, photos, audio, video, precise or approximate location, health data, biometrics, payment data, school records, employment records, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. Users should not enter those details in optional text fields.
06. Permissions and device access
Version 1.0 requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, notification, storage, phone, SMS, advertising-ID, health, or other dangerous runtime permission. It cannot upload a draft, inspect another app, read a contact list, or obtain a live schedule.
07. Libraries, SDKs, advertising, and analytics
Production code uses the Android platform and official AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and JetBrains support libraries for lifecycle and interface behavior. It contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, tracking, social, authentication, payment, mapping, crash-reporting, cloud-database, recruiting, health-data, or generative-AI SDK. The app-support website and any separate editorial website are technically and legally separate products.
08. Sharing, sale, and external actions
The publisher does not receive, sell, rent, share, or use optional local content for advertising. The app has no share, email, upload, WebView, browser, chat, or messaging action. If the device owner independently captures or shows a screen, that activity is controlled outside the app.
09. Athlete, student, and family safety
The app is written for adults and post-secondary or adult athletes considering transferable skills and next steps. It has no child profile, roster, public post, direct message, adult-child matching, location sharing, ad, or purchase. Do not enter a minor's identity, school, schedule, route, health details, family information, image, or private record. If the publisher later markets to younger age groups, audience declarations and Families requirements must be reviewed before release.
10. Career, opportunity, health, and financial limits
Scores and checklists reflect only the user's own inputs and are not recommendations or professional assessments. The app does not prescribe workouts, diagnose injury, provide return-to-play guidance, recommend supplements, interpret contracts, calculate compensation, or provide investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental-health advice. Qualified professionals and authoritative sources should be used where appropriate.
11. Retention
Optional content remains on the device until the user changes it, uses the confirmed Erase all local entries control, clears app storage in Android settings, or uninstalls the app. The publisher has no server-controlled retention period because it does not receive a copy.
12. Deletion and no-account status
The app creates no account, so account deletion is not applicable. The in-app erase control clears every optional checklist, rating, selection, and text field after confirmation. Android storage controls and uninstall provide additional device-level deletion. Deleted local entries cannot be recovered by the publisher.
13. Security, backup, and changes
Android's application sandbox protects app-private storage, but no local design can protect an unlocked, shared, rooted, or compromised device. Cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled and the extraction rules exclude files, databases, and SharedPreferences. Any future network feature, permission, SDK, account, advertising, or data-practice change requires matching updates to the app, public policy, Play declarations, and listing before release.
14. Contact, corrections, and effective date

A publisher-controlled developer email may be added only after it is supplied and verified.
